Mexican Immigration: Cities Upgrade Border Security??

United Stated Law-Enforcement officials said that they have seized more drugs, weapons, as well as cash along the Mexican border. Critics remain saying that border security inadequate. US officials said that intensification in work force and funding for border operations was making a difference. Homeland Security officials say that they have deployed some 20,000 border patrol agents. Also, they say that they are in the process of adding intelligence analysts and electronic screening units. The point: to identify weapons, as well as cash and drug shipments.
Agencies point out thousands of drug-trafficking arrests in recent months and more than 1,100 in one operation, last fall, focusing on Mexico’s La Familia gang.
